I know a young lady named Aimee who lives in my town. She was born in Loma Linda, California in 1988, and was a miracle baby. She was a month early, and it wasn’t sure if either she or her mother would survive the birth. But, she did, and was considered a gift from God.
When she was two years old her parents moved she and her brother, five years older than her up to Oregon where she still lives. Her family settled down and started a new life. Aimee went to elementary school, middle school, and high school all in the same town. She was a very precocious child that always had a twinkle in her eye, dimples and said the most surprising things, and did exactly the opposite of what you would expect.
Now as a young woman of twenty two, she’s married to her high school sweet-heart, and they have a beautiful little 2-1/2 year old daughter in a nice home in town.
Aimee has many talents. She’s a wonderful mother and homemaker. She is very health conscious and she and husband prefer organic food. Her husband is a gourmet cook and meat cutter. Up to a few months ago, she worked at a daycare center for children three to ten years of age. But, now she is waiting for the birth of their second child, a boy to be born the middle of March.
But, she still keeps busy. She is very artistic and loves to make artistic modern art. She is very talented at knitting and crocheting as well, and has made numerous hats, scarves, purses, and blankets, and just finished a beautiful blanket for the new baby.
She has almost completed getting her Associates Degree from college, with her major being Criminal Justice. She is very involved with her family, and helps in so many ways with her advice, and has a wonderful sense of humor. When asked if she could be interviewed, Aimee laughed with surprise and said, ” Me? What’s there to write about me. I’m afraid it won’t be very interesting.” Aimee has always refused the spotlight and also hates to get her picture taken.
She likes to paint and refinish furniture, decorating and reupholstering, so she has very little spare time. Not to mention, her little 2 year old keeps her on the go as well, as she is always talking and asking question, and is a very bright, adorable little girl.
Yes, Aimee is quite amazing. Her husband and her daughter are very lucky to have her and love her as much as she loves them.

(Incidentally, Aimee is my granddaughter, and I can’t help but brag about her.)
