I am feeling very undecided. Currently, I am on Unemployment. I was laid off about a month ago. I have always worked, so I am feeling bored and not sure what to do with myself. Recently, I was offered a part-time position. If I accept this position, I will be making the same amount that I do on Unemployment. I will no longer receive Unemployment if I accept this position. Should I take the job or stay home and bring in the same amount of money?

Dear Bored and Unemployed,
I think you already know the answer. The question is—how do you want to spend your time? You say you are bored, don’t know what to do with yourself, and have always worked. Money does not seem to be the issue here, does it? If you enjoy working, do it. Time is a precious commodity. Don’t waste it! Good luck!
